Discover the inner workings of these colossal structures, some spanning as much as 28 football fields, housing millions of products, and operated by a seamless blend of human expertise and state-of-the-art technology.
The Fulfilment Centre in Manchester is a robotics sortable facility. In these centres, associates ship items smaller than a conventional microwave alongside robots.

Q. Who is this event for?
A. This event is open to business owners, ecommerce managers, marketing managers, and merchandisers for businesses of all sizes who either sell or are thinking about selling products on the Amazon marketplace.
Q. Can I bring my team?
A. This event has limited space available for safety reasons in the fulfilment centre so we ask for one attendee from each company.
Q. Time, Date and Location
A. The tour is scheduled for the 20th of June 2024 at the Amazon Fulfilment Centre in Manchester right next to Manchester Airport. The time for the tour is to be confirmed but we are aiming to start around 3 pm. We will send you an email with full details of the tour including instructions and requirements weeks in advance.
Q. Tour Duration
A. Each tour is approximately 60-90 minutes long. The tour involves walking up and down multiple flights of stairs and covers approximately 1-2 km. We will supply water bottles that can be refilled at water stations along the route.
Q. Accessibility and Dietary Requirements
A. We will send out a private form nearer the event so we can cater for everyone’s personal preferences and requirements.
Q. Tour Dress Code
A. For the tour, all guests must wear flat, closed-toed, and closed-heeled shoes (no sandals, clogs or high heels). We recommend wearing comfortable shoes or trainers. Additionally, long hair must be pulled at or above shoulder length. Loose-fitting clothing (long-hanging jewellery, scarves, or ties) are not permitted. Headscarves worn for religious reasons are permitted but must be tucked in securely.
